This recipe is not only very yummy, it also belongs in the category of iced tea recipes.
Rose water not only tastes good and smells good but it is also good for you! It is said to be soothing to the emotions as well as the body. If you are cold, tea will warm you.
If you are heated, it will cool you.
If you are depressed, it will cheer you. If you are excited, it will calm you.

I love having Tea from the fancy teapots rather than the thermos flask.

Season's Musing

~Welcome to my season's garden~

The season after the rain has vanished, its smells always make me smile big… The intoxicating smell of newly mowed grass, the way everything smells so fresh after Mother Nature cleanses with a pouring summer rain, and the sweet yummy smell of watermelons.

When summer arrives it always brings with it a wonderful variety of fruits and vegetables that are only plentiful during those hot lazy summer days… like cucumber salads, sun warmed strawberries, and dill creamed baby potatoes mmm mmm mmm!

This is also the season that speaks to my inner child most loudly. I want to lay in a field at 2am and watch the stars, splash in all the puddles, spit watermelon seeds ( which I still don’t do well, but it’s fun trying), catch fireflies in a jar, watch dragonflies, ladybugs, and caterpillars with the awe of a toddler, picnics in the park, collecting shells at the beach to make funny crafts with that always make you smile when you see them, lazy games of “I Spy” or cloud watching and looking for the shapes those billowy puffs make, blowing soap bubbles, Ice cream - licking it from your fingers as the Sun melts it faster than your tongue can lap up the cold sweet treat… I think I could go on forever with this list so I better stop short right here.

All of the beautiful gardens bursting with pallets of color that delight and tickle the imagination!

Alhamdullilah

Alhamdullilah

Say Alhamdullilah

Whatever happens is by the Will of Allah, whether it be good or bad. Sometimes we forget Allah when it comes to happy moments, but immediately turn to Him for the bad. We should always be thanking Allah (SWT) for His infinite blessings, even in the tough times. He still gives and gives and we don’t even ask. The mercy of our Lord is beyond.. Subhna’Allah. “Its better a calamity that turns you to Allah, than a blessing that makes you forget Allah”
Always say Alhamdulillah for everything….
