*INGREDIENTS*
Dates 200 gms
* Tamarind 200 gms - I use pulp of tamarind
* Jaggery 300 gms - you can use sugar as well
* Ground roasted cumin seeds 1 tsp
* Salt to taste
* Red chilli powder according to taste
COOKING DIRECTIONS
1. Remove seeds from the dates, then soak the dates and tamarind (if whole) together for 3-4 hours.
2. Obtain all the pulp and juice from these through a stainless steel sieve.
3. Boil once with the jaggery and remove.
4. Add all the other ingredients and mix with wooden spoon.
Store in bottle when cool and enjoy.
